customer service annoyance

Azim and I were at the MPH at The Curve today and we spent the longest time looking for notebooks. When we finally got the ones we wanted,we couldn't find any price tags on them.Azim asked the people at the customer service counter for the price and they asked if we could find another book with tags on them.DUH!That was what we did and OBVIOUSLY the books we picked up were the last ones on the shelf. Why would we be there asking for the price if we could have found it out ourselves?

Finally, the MPH staff came to a conclusion whereby the books cannot be purchased.Azim wanted to just steal them (which wasn't a bad idea after all) I ended up filling up a tiny form with my name and cellphone number on it so that they can call me once they have obtained the information on the price of the notebooks.

*sigh*

Qarim,Azim and I ended up at Borders.I ended up getting a book by Amir Muhammad instead.Luckily,I am enjoying the book so my trip out to the mall today wasn't a complete waste.

Kecik took all his pills today with no problems at all. That is quite an achievement!

Yasmin Ahmad's Films by Amir Muhammad

I think the book contains all the thoughts I have about the movies she's made and Amir Muhammad added extra infos on Yasmin Ahmad as herself and what he thought of her which makes me feel as though the world of awesome Malaysian film has come to an end. That's sad really. She made the whole "One Malaysia" simple and easy through her movies which is what the new generation of this current nation need.

I guess at some point, different people have different preferences so not everyone sees the positive in everything which is good at some point coz only then we can see the flaws whether it is in ourselves or in the world we live in.Still, that doesn't give anyone the right to shoot down someone else's ideas just because he/she doesn't share the same principle :/

One thing I realize is that the initial stage of my wanting to start giving Malaysian movies a chance began with Yasmin Ahmad.I may not like them completely (coz some of them really suck) but I guess some local films are cool (and funny!) ;)
