Do people just wake up one day and decides to be an adult???

Or is it a long process which we will need further get used to as the days go by?

How will I know if I am already there? How will I know I am all grown up and adult-ish?

Anywho.......Shu was super shocked at suddenly realizing that he and I are no longer 35 years of age this year......He thought I was playing him that he actually took out his phone and used to calculator app to double check -_-

Yes, a year went by and ALL OF US didn't realize it coz of the pan-ass-demic. This probably answers the question as to why I am having a hard time doing planks. Oh wait, that may be due to the side effects of either the usage of epidural during the labour back in 2017 or.........the pregnancy itself........or both! Either ways, my knees hurt from time to time. I suspect it's the squats or just a postural problem I have during workouts.

Whatever it is, all I know is that my body has injuries from doing sports........who knows, could have from all of those years I used to do sports in school.

So yeah, Shu was in shock and I am just trying to live my life. I am raising a 4-year old . I can't possibly be super grown up and expect her to be grown up when she's only 4!

æ˜ĨéĒĻ

My playlist had been SCANDAL in the past week and although I don't super like ALL their songs, I have enough to make a playlist of their songs on my phone 😁

We were trying to find a place to have lunch today. Shu's initial plan was to book a table over at Jibby East coz it's near and the food is good. They were quite packed coz DUH it's the weekend and even on weekdays, the place is usually packed anyways. My suggestion was to go to our usual spot which is Royale Chulan Damansara. Usually, the coffee house is calm during lunch hour and unless there were in-house guests who wanted buffets or something, the place was usually laid back. USUALLY. Not today though. Luckily, Shu called ahead and discovered that there was some sort of high-tea event happening so the place was fully booked.

We ended up having lunch over at Royale Chulan The Curve which was at The Curve Shopping Mall. I honestly thought traffic was gonna be a problem coz.........the IKEA Christmas sale is happening and for some strange reason, Malaysians really,REALLY,really love shopping at IKEA. I know, very strange. Luckily for us, the hotel has a separate parking entrance so we didn't get mixed up with the IKEA crowd. Had lunch and Shu decided to let us stroll in the mall coz he needed to get some jeans and possibly t-shirts.........

I discovered a plant shop >-< I know! I couldn't resist! They had so many plants and I HAD TO FALL for the HUGE one! -_-

OMGOMGOMG! I love it!!!!!

We ended up not getting anything from the mall afterall coz suddenly, so many people started coming in and some didn't even wear a mask IN THE MALL ðŸ˜Ģ So, we decided to leave.

Stopped by at my parents' place and coincidentally, my sister and her kids are out of town so only my parents and Rashid and Kak Yah were at home. My mum was missing the kids and the kids had a good time playing tug-of-war and stuff with Rashid outside just before it rained. They also got to interact with some of the cats. They had fun.

It's been a long week and Shu (especially) and I are super tired. I really need to take a breather but tomorrow is cardio day! Tht usually means I am extra stressed prior to getting the workout routine done and if I do make it through, I would probably die of exhaustion but in a happy way ^_^

Feel some hearts, I wouldn't lie

I have memories that travels my mind
Fear not, fear not when you go
I have pieces of your hate in my soul
Look at me now, I'm falling apart in daylight
All the pieces that I lost I have loved

It's nice to see Eeno again after so long. I don't go to my mum's house very often for a variety of reasons. Some of which being that I am super busy with the kids school schedule and readjusting my routines to their schedule. Also, I usually would video call my mum..........

The times that I do visit my parents, Eeno would either be super busy or just avoiding my sister. The reasons matters not for I understand exactly why he does so.

It's funny how he and I are on the same page on so many things. I am happy to see he's making progress. Xin Xien is super busy so I doubt if I'll ever see her anytime soon. My mum sent me the video of their wedding tea ceremony after nikah at my parents house. It was simple and nice.

Anywho, I have just been bitten by shit loads of mosquitoes in a very short amount of time. If they were piranhas, I'd be dead. My mind have been on arts and doodling and crafting in the last couple of days. I haven't been jamming on the guitar.

For some reason, I have Garmadon in mind....... As a subject for doodle practice......

I pulled myself together a couple of nights ago and visited my Sims. I miss them and I was trying to remember what I did last time I played. I messed up big time. I hate myself for messing up things with my sims especially with Jack and Joseph Conrad 😭

Why do I ruin the things I love?!!!

Eeno got married today!

My mum called me a couple of days ago as I was waiting for Shu to get Yusuf from school. I was in the car. I had just rained so heavily. Out of the quietness, my phone rang and it was my mum. She said "I have something to tell you......" Usually, my thoughts would be "What did I do now?" Turns out, she wanted to tell me that Eeno was getting married......on the 11th.......at 11am.........So,my immediate response was "Sale Day! Great!" It was funnier in my head........

Anywho, the day arrived and I have another sister (in-law) I love it! I have 2 new sisters (in-law) this year! This is so awesome!

Earlier this week, I was tagged by Ili on IG. She was expressing how much she appreciates girlfriends like me and a few other girls from school. We've known each other forever. She was saying how much she appreciates us for being more supportive instead of bitching behind her back and stuff. I've known Ili since we were about 8 years old. She and her sister, Dini are like family to me and my family. We used to hangout till sunset and her mum used to have to phone our house to get them to go home for dinner and stuff. It was hilarious.I was sad when her mum died coz I've known her forever.

I'd never say or do things that I wouldn't want to be done to me coz it really hurts and it's non-productive or helpful in any way. Also, I am a believer of karma, big time. I digress. Yeah, we've known each other since we were kids. I just couldn't reply much coz I am not good with social media especially Instagram. I also don't spend that much time browsing stuff like IG or whatever. I like to spend time learning new things so I am most likely on YouTube watching some how-to video.

Oh yeah, it's also been a busy week coz Yusuf is back in school so our day starts before 6am and by 7pm,we are usually done with dinner and by 9pm, I am already tucked in bed. I decided to workout earlier in the day instead of 3pm-ish coz that way, I'd have more time with Shu and the kids. Besides, Ali Imran finishes school at about 1pm so after that, it's lunch time and things get hectic again.

I cannot imagine what school days are gonna be like if Shu doesn't get up and cook everyday. I don't think I can get anything done without Shu, honestly. It's just hectic coz we've been out of it for a long while and now,we have to resume our schedule just like before and we're kinda like trying to pick up the pace still.

Safiyya will be going to school next year and it's gonna be even more hectic unless she's being a good sport and actually wants to get ready for school -_-

Halloween in Legoland

Let's face it, I am the one who is most excited to dance and sing and enjoy myself at Legoland. So much more than the kids. Last year, we were at home for Halloween. Not that it's much of a celebration or whatever. I just love Halloween everything. Black and Orange is my thing.

We headed over to Legoland down south on October 31st. Got there early in time for the park opening dance ceremony (my favourite part of the trip ALWAYS) This time, we were waiting to meet the count himself........the Vampire Lego 😍 He's kinda my favourite Lego Person........

I was super excited to see the pizza box and food box had Halloween prints on them!

We had to have brunch coz Shu and I had been up since before sunrise trying to get us all to the park on time......... Coffee at the park is ALWAYS good 👍 I recommend it ^_^

Safiyya drove again this year.....she's getting better at it. I kinda had a proud mom moment for a bit.....

Ali Imran was old enough to drive at the big kids drive range this year. I forgot he's 6 this year so I got confused for a bit while queueing him up at the same driving range as Safiyya.......... 😜 The last time we were here,he was 5 and he and Safiyya were still driving at the kiddie driving school.

There I was AGAIN chaperone-ing Yusuf on the Roller-Coaster ride(s).......Screaming for my life.......

Safiyya is old enough to go on roller-coasters too this year.........that meant that I had to be her "adult" chaperone..........once again, I was screaming for my life.

This time around, we chose the Adventure themed room. I think it's our first time choosing this theme ever since we first came here (2012) I have a mild obsession with Egyptian Mythology and Ancient Egypt so, it kinda fits my mood.

The doors had been upgraded to Anubis........He shall determine your fate..........

I was looking at this canvas print hanging on the wall and at first, I thought "Well,if it isn't the process of mummification and oh look! Is that Osiris?" and then.........I realized that he was sitting on Lego bricks.........DUH!

And who does not like the tapestry! They definitely refurbished the room alright!

The next day, we got up super early coz Ali Imran wanted to play at the Castle in the lobby area. It's his favourite thing to do. Also, I didn't wanna miss the opening ceremony dance performance. This time, it's the usual opening ceremony but Safiyya and I were super psyched to see the Lego Friends again.

They no longer have the Lego Friends performances at the auditorium in the park so we were only able to catch them at the main stage at the main entrance of the park. The Lego Ninjago live action puppet shows are still on over at the auditorium.

Oh yeah, it was so hot at the time coz it was gonna rain. Yusuf wanted to go on the Dino Island ride and it was opened at the time so we made it on the ride just before it poured. Seriously though, it kinda made no difference at this point coz I was soaked at the end of the ride anyways. Even my socks got wet. The T-Rex still scared the life out of me and this was not my first time on this ride -_-

Safiyya was enjoying herself on the water splashing submarine ride. She had to be chaperoned so Shu took her this time. I think I went once and Shu and Ali Imran kept splashing me. Oh yeah, Safiyya went jousting for the first time! She was living for it! Hahaha!

The kids wanted to take a look inside the castle at the Lego Kingdom area. They are still not big enough for the ride though. I think Yusuf is big enough but I was hesitant to go coz the last time I went on the ride, I was stuck at the end of the ride which took us about 45 minutes to get off coz there were some technical problems with it. I kinda didn't wanna go through that again so I skipped the ride.

We managed to go to Sealife and got to finally meet Nusa the octopus. He was sleeping at the time but Ali Imran was super happy to have seen him. I was happy to see the seahorses all pregnant and ready to pop! And there were so many baby seahorses too! And there was someone in the tank cleaning too!

On the third day, as we were about to leave, Ali Imran wanted to play at the castle in the lobby one last time so I decided to wait there with the kids while Shu got the car. There was a Pirate Lego Man doing some performances in the lobby stage area which is usually the kids' favourite thing to do coz usually it involves dancing.........which is what I like doing as well ^_^

We had a blast. Honestly, I was having a hard time adjusting coz within this same month, we spent over 2 weeks in Terengganu just winding down and things were really slowing down for us. And then, we headed over to Legoland. There's never a dull moment or anything slow here. There's always music and dancing and performances and rides and lots and lots of walking. Yeah, it was quite a rush but I had a good time.

Also, Legoland extended our annual passes to make up for the lockdown and now, we have extended our annual passes to August 2022. Hell yes, we'll be back!
