Halloween in Legoland

Let's face it, I am the one who is most excited to dance and sing and enjoy myself at Legoland. So much more than the kids. Last year, we were at home for Halloween. Not that it's much of a celebration or whatever. I just love Halloween everything. Black and Orange is my thing.

We headed over to Legoland down south on October 31st. Got there early in time for the park opening dance ceremony (my favourite part of the trip ALWAYS) This time, we were waiting to meet the count himself........the Vampire Lego 😍 He's kinda my favourite Lego Person........

I was super excited to see the pizza box and food box had Halloween prints on them!

We had to have brunch coz Shu and I had been up since before sunrise trying to get us all to the park on time......... Coffee at the park is ALWAYS good 👍 I recommend it ^_^

Safiyya drove again this year.....she's getting better at it. I kinda had a proud mom moment for a bit.....

Ali Imran was old enough to drive at the big kids drive range this year. I forgot he's 6 this year so I got confused for a bit while queueing him up at the same driving range as Safiyya.......... 😜 The last time we were here,he was 5 and he and Safiyya were still driving at the kiddie driving school.

There I was AGAIN chaperone-ing Yusuf on the Roller-Coaster ride(s).......Screaming for my life.......

Safiyya is old enough to go on roller-coasters too this year.........that meant that I had to be her "adult" chaperone..........once again, I was screaming for my life.

This time around, we chose the Adventure themed room. I think it's our first time choosing this theme ever since we first came here (2012) I have a mild obsession with Egyptian Mythology and Ancient Egypt so, it kinda fits my mood.

The doors had been upgraded to Anubis........He shall determine your fate..........

I was looking at this canvas print hanging on the wall and at first, I thought "Well,if it isn't the process of mummification and oh look! Is that Osiris?" and then.........I realized that he was sitting on Lego bricks.........DUH!

And who does not like the tapestry! They definitely refurbished the room alright!

The next day, we got up super early coz Ali Imran wanted to play at the Castle in the lobby area. It's his favourite thing to do. Also, I didn't wanna miss the opening ceremony dance performance. This time, it's the usual opening ceremony but Safiyya and I were super psyched to see the Lego Friends again.

They no longer have the Lego Friends performances at the auditorium in the park so we were only able to catch them at the main stage at the main entrance of the park. The Lego Ninjago live action puppet shows are still on over at the auditorium.

Oh yeah, it was so hot at the time coz it was gonna rain. Yusuf wanted to go on the Dino Island ride and it was opened at the time so we made it on the ride just before it poured. Seriously though, it kinda made no difference at this point coz I was soaked at the end of the ride anyways. Even my socks got wet. The T-Rex still scared the life out of me and this was not my first time on this ride -_-

Safiyya was enjoying herself on the water splashing submarine ride. She had to be chaperoned so Shu took her this time. I think I went once and Shu and Ali Imran kept splashing me. Oh yeah, Safiyya went jousting for the first time! She was living for it! Hahaha!

The kids wanted to take a look inside the castle at the Lego Kingdom area. They are still not big enough for the ride though. I think Yusuf is big enough but I was hesitant to go coz the last time I went on the ride, I was stuck at the end of the ride which took us about 45 minutes to get off coz there were some technical problems with it. I kinda didn't wanna go through that again so I skipped the ride.

We managed to go to Sealife and got to finally meet Nusa the octopus. He was sleeping at the time but Ali Imran was super happy to have seen him. I was happy to see the seahorses all pregnant and ready to pop! And there were so many baby seahorses too! And there was someone in the tank cleaning too!

On the third day, as we were about to leave, Ali Imran wanted to play at the castle in the lobby one last time so I decided to wait there with the kids while Shu got the car. There was a Pirate Lego Man doing some performances in the lobby stage area which is usually the kids' favourite thing to do coz usually it involves dancing.........which is what I like doing as well ^_^

We had a blast. Honestly, I was having a hard time adjusting coz within this same month, we spent over 2 weeks in Terengganu just winding down and things were really slowing down for us. And then, we headed over to Legoland. There's never a dull moment or anything slow here. There's always music and dancing and performances and rides and lots and lots of walking. Yeah, it was quite a rush but I had a good time.

Also, Legoland extended our annual passes to make up for the lockdown and now, we have extended our annual passes to August 2022. Hell yes, we'll be back!
