more collisions
I was totally blown away a couple of years back when I foundout that LinZy's friends and probably some family members are associated or was associated with people whom I know from my end of the world.Then,when I met Shu and he told me that he is friends with some people in TTDI,I was surprised to find out that these dudes are kids from my school.We used to be schoolmates.Tonight,when Shu and I went over to Dan's house (next to where I used to live) Shu told me that one of the guys coming out from Dan's place looked familiar.He totally knew the guy!The dude is Eno's batchmate back in school.I was totally spooked when I heard Dan mentioning the name Clone.Clone is Shu's best buddy since his days in KYSM.It turns out that Clone and Dan and that dude we met at Dan's place were all together in the states to study.

When I was Ili's engagement ceremony a couple of years ago,I kept thinking what it was that made her change and what it was that made her want to be there where she was on the road to spending the rest of her life with that guy she was getting engaged with at the time.Now,being here where I am,I cannot explain why I want to do this.All I know is that I want to and that I am happy to be here-on my way to spending my entire life with Shu.
A few years back,I was far from deciding a date for my wedding.Everyone (myself included) thought I'd probably be the last one to tie the knot.Some people still cannot absorb the fact just yet and everytime we talk about it,they'd have a hard time believing that I am old enough to do this.

Gemok's ultimate escape.........
She didn't get very far though.Just under my neighbour's car next door.I have no idea how or when she got there but this morning,she couldn't get back coz she still hasn't recovered.Every morning,I'd hear her scream downstairs coz Kak Yah would give her meds before letting her into my room.She hates being carried around and she hates taking medications.She'd usually be all grumpy when she enters my room but after a while,she'd get over it and fall asleep.

We'll begin recording by the 26th (INSYALLAH) if all goes well.The drill,of course,will be recording the drums first.We have yet to have another band meeting ASAP since we still haven't figured out which song to record FIRST and how we're gonna get Rashid to play to a live recording of our songs.

sneak preview........hahahahaha!!!!!!
I got engaged yesterday (July 19th 2009)!Loads happened.There were a whole lot of FIRST TIMES such as what I did to my hair and what I wore and what I had on and stuff.I didn't have time to blog about it yesterday coz I was dead tired by the time I was by myself.Also,I had class this morning so I needed the sleep.
I have to keep in mind that yesterday was the first and shall be the last time I'm ever using liquid eyeliners.Black liquid eyeliners and mascara!My aunt and my sister couldn't make up their minds about what color my lips should have been so they kept putting on lisptick and lip liners and then erased it and started over.I think they did it for about 3 times.
OMFG!I so got my hair curled!With a curling thong,of course.The typical blow drying method could never work.My hair was first straightened and then curled.Don't think I'd wanna do that again.It was fun while it lasted though.
Ili came and I was so glad and surprised to see her.Ash was nice enough to come help us clean the house and all.He was scrubbing the porch for God sakes!Eventually,he was appointed as the photographer.LinZy,Yumi and Maj turned up later in the night.Thanks!I wasn't sure if I was allowed to invite anyone coz I'm always kept outside of discussions.....so sorry for not inviting you guys officially.
The negotiations went on pretty quick.Shu's family arrived at 2:30pm.Before 3pm,everything was settled.All of Shu's sisters and brother were present.Also,Shu's uncle and aunt and all their kids (Hafiz,Fakhri and Ikhwan and their other 3 younger siblings) My aunts and grandma drove from JB.My other aunts were already at my place in the morning.My uncle had been helping out since the night before.Aunty Intan,Farah and Aunty Gina had helped so much.Aunty Intan and Farah did all the hantaran while Aunty Gina made the cupcakes.A whole lot of other people helped in as well like Kak Ti and Kak Yah.My sister and Naim.Oh yeah!My nephew and my tiny cousins came too ^_^
It was pretty weird coz usually when the house is all cleared up for kenduris and stuff,my tiny cousin and I would be the ones to wrestle and play and run around the carpeted floor.It was also weird coz up till the time I had to get dress,it felt as though I was still part of the clean up crew like I usually would be.I had a blast.

what's the worst thing to happen before a semi big day?
Having your left palm wrapped thanks to a certain cat by the name of Kecik who scratched me with his powerful hind leg coz he freaked out when he heard and saw the vacum cleaner!Thanks to him,one of my favourite t-shirts has a whole now!Luckily,my right hand will be the one recieving the engagement ring tomorrow!

between extremely bored or simply takde kerja
Shu finally did it.The one thing I've been wanting to do all this while.He finally pulled that old tube down from hanging on the wall of that house with the swimming pool we'd usually pass on our way to the park.He pulled it down from the wall into the drain.After that,we ran like there's no tomorrow all the way to the other end of the alley.Then,when we realized that noone saw us,we just laughed out loud all the way home.
Several minutes after we got home,we realized that it was still early so we played badminton at the alley near the house.Azim's friend joined us and we started hitting high with the wind and all.One hit went out of control and the shuttle got stuck on the tree from one of the houses compounds.Shu tried to get it down by throwing his slipper at it in hopes that it would fall.The first time that happened,it fell.The second time Shu pulled the same stunt,his slipper ended up in the compound of that house.I thought we were done for but Shu (dengan muka tak malu,walking with one slipper) gave salam to the owner of the house and asked if he could get his slipper back.The lady looked weirded out but let Shu take his slipper anyways.
Oh yeah,Fei Mao got hit by a light vehicle (Dr. Clement suspects it was a motorbike) She's still alive but she was limping.She was practically dragging her hind leg.The doc said she has a muscle concussion.We're still on a lookout to see if she is suffering from any form of internal bleeding.After struggling and getting angry at the vet,she finally got a jap which helped her relax and ease off the pain.So far,there are no signs of blood from her urine or the poo.She's resting now.

Smiley World by Bossini
Why shouldn't we wear the things we buy on the spot and bag our old stuff?
It's been a while since Shu and I got stuff which are identical.It's not like we do it often to begin with but we do have tees which have the same exact prints like the SPCA Take Me Home t-shirt and the PGL Musical ones and the Giordano ones too.........
Anywho,I am very prone to happy looking colorful things these days and from a distance,I spotted a huge smiley face board with loads of colorful t-shirts (yellow mostly).After going around the mall doing what we were supposed to do,we checked out the shop.I picked up a medium sized kid tee and insisted on looking for a t-shirt for Shu.It's yellow-ish orange and it's perfect and happy looking.
My dad was cleaning up the house front for the event happening on Sunday.Shu and I helped in and we realized that my dad was wearing a plain tee with the same color tone.We looked like a bunch of clean up crew.
