bananas are expected this afternoon

Despite the amount of work that needs to be done and the string of people to meet today,Shu managed to drag me off to a movie at noon.We watched a movie we've been waiting for all month long.Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs.I think the movie was pretty good.Fast moving.Reminding me of a lot of things that's been going on in my life.Reminding me of the people I come across in life.

We had a hard time keeping our voices down when we laugh coz we were both laughing so hard and loud.I lurve Flint's hairdo!Hahahaha! But seriously,I doubt if I'd ever want food to come falling from the sky.It could kill! For countries where food is scarce,I guess it would be ok though too much of something can't be good for anyone :p

tutored

Shu's Arab-speaking nephew came to my rescue AGAIN.Well, thanks to Shu for still being in contact with a relative who speaks the language on a daily basis,I managed to finish my homework AGAIN.

I had a pretty good time while having breakfast with Shu and his nephew.Apart from them catching up and all,it turns out that his nephew (like Shu) has a flare for business and he's practically earning while studying. How awesome is that? For someone who hasn't got a clue about business, the conversations and ideas those 2 had today managed to open my eyes to a new level of money making.

Hurmm............imagine,having thousands of bux a month all to yourself TAX-FREE!

I've gotten back into sketching. Finally opened that metal case of washable pencils my dad got me some years ago.The thing is finally put to good use.I'll be posting up my first sketch in over a year since my last picture.

unaddressed

it's amazing
how you ruined my everything
and still
you are doing it
how you do it well
you must be feeling so fantastic
so contented
best wishes to you
hopefully you are happy
and proud of your achievement
don't wipe that smile off your face
its the symbol of how far you've gone

My folks have been wondering where the hell I'd disappear to every time I come home after sunset. One word.Shu.

For many days in a week,I shall occasionally come home later than usual.I'm usually home on weekends.I'm usually gone during the day (after classes) coz it would usually start with having lunch with Shu.Then, sometimes we'd get carried away doing other things like sneaking into Shu's classes or simply just hanging out at some random mall.

Today,we finally sat down to talk about what needs to be done (with the wedding reception) Honestly,I doubt if we have enough time to begin with.Shu took me to this place where we can find just about anything pertaining to art.Easels, drawing and sketching pencils.Loose sheets of papers and stencils.Anything.Shu ended up buying me a set of face paint crayons.

The consequences are insane.I colored his entire face making him look like The Joker. He tried to do a KISS impression on my face which turned out to look more like a semi-Alice Cooper+some Hindu priest and there were some random black lines under one of my eyes.We had a hard time getting the color off.Shu's eyes were in pain :p

wedding reception=meeting old school friends

TTDI is not that big of a town.Met up with a whole bunch of my schoolmates from primary school to secondary school.I even met up with a childhood friend,Jojo.

The first person to say hey to me was Jamilah ka Jamie. She was sitting at a table with Dhiya and Zafirah. Then,I met Husna and Shira and Azlin and Dayana,Nurulliyana,Lish,Amir Hafidz and Meng.I saw Aizuddin (Din-Ili's good friend from school).Daniel and his sister,Sizie were sitting with their mum whom eventually moved to the table where my folks were sitting at.Edzuan and his folks were there.Ili's bride's maid was Suraya.

I met a whole bunch of my neighbours whose moved out from TTDI like Uncle Bashir and Aunty Fairuz,Uncle Pahmi and wife and their daughter Sarah (who is actually staying with her husband in Perth but did not follow her husband to attend Ili's wedding) Uncle Wahid and Aunty Kamilia came.Ruby and her boyfriend came late but they came anyways.

It was fun having to introduce Shu to my friends. It was funner to see the looks on their faces when I said we are engaged. Some of friends grabbed my hand to see the ring. Some of them were psyched and super surprised to know that I'd soon be married as well.I just like introducing Shu to the people who were and some still are in the world I come from and the world I live in.

I'm just surprised that I can actually remember the names of schoolmates.

I think Ili's wedding went well and she looked awesomely beautiful.Very unlike the tomboy I've known for so long.

Ili & Farid:akad nikah and reception

I have known Ili since we were 9.Kecik2 gaduh pasal kawan and what we wear and the things we do.She's finally married.Eventhough I don't know the guy,Shu and I did say hey to him yesterday and he seems sober.

Shu and I went to observe the procedures.Shu managed to talk to the imam just to see what he's like.Haha! The procedure was clear and understandable.Ili took a picture holding up the certificate she signed. That was cute but I didn't get a picture of her.Hopefully she'll post it up on FB along with the rest of her wedding photos.

I am so psyched and happy for her ^_^

I'll be off to her wedding in a couple of hours time.Shu and I are still trying to figure out what to wear :p

12 Studio,Subang SS15

It was all a last minute thing but we finally did it.It's been 2 years since RadioEdit was formed and now,we finally got around to record our first ever live demo.It was tiring and we were all bit in a daze from the traffic jam and the 30-minute warm up jamming session,we carried on recording anyways coz it was a now or never moment.

I could hear myself not being able to scream out and give my best shot coz of the gum in my mouth and my throat dry from forgetting to bring a bottle of H2O with me.We could hardly hear ourselves in the studio but from the mixing room, everything sounds superclear.Shu monitored us from the mixing room.Kamal's solos were all over the place for some songs.Ayie sometimes gets lost in the song and lose concentration on the song.Rashid is the only one who seems to be at one with the music.

Overall,I think it was good.We like the studio. The dude who did the recording for us (Nathan) is a nice guy.He asked for Shu's number so that he can inform us if any gigs come up and we could get a slot.

I am supertired.I had 3 iced milos in one night and that is as much as I have ever taken within several hours.

We'll update the band FB and MySpace pages ASAP.I'll be ripping the songs off the CD for the band in the meantime ;)

Tired but happy and my arms are full of scratches from that kitten at the studio. He's so chomel! ^_^

Went to check out the hair salon over at the mall and the hair stylist she could do what I want with the color I want at an awesomelicious price!AWESOME!

Shu and I were supposed to go watch a movie but all the shows we wanted to see were either not in theaters yet or we missed it :/

The rest of the day was pretty much a blank...........I can't remember how I got here.......hurmm........

I bet even pigs could drive better

How fucked up are some people behind the wheels?!Orang lain pun panas gak!Orang lain pun bawak kete tapi otak diorang working gak la.Of course, tak tau la if these idiots actually have brains to begin with.

First up,idiots who blocks pathways and not move (coz they are in the car) when seeing other people have difficulties maneuvering because of them.I mean, how stupid can some people get?

And then, there are people who would conveniently squeeze in between safety distance WITHOUT signalling and even when you've honked at them indicating that they are colliding into you car and that I'd have to immediately jam the brakes for them just shows that they either do not have a proper driver's license or they just have no clue about road rules. And to make it worse, its written in their faces that they are as fucked up as any homo sapiens can be.

Lets not forget those who'd leave their signals on and move in between 2 lanes and then goes the opposite direction of where their signal is pointing to.

I think I am going to spend a little more on tolls and take the easy driving way home in the evenings.Stress is not good for my Qi and it's really bad for the complexion and hair!

Still, one way to de-stress is by setting these people's cars on fire. Therefore,I could prevent them from harming other people on the road.
