My grandma was rushed to the emergency over there late that afternoon. Docs called my mum and said that her heart beat was dropping and her eyes were shut. Turns out she had a heart attack. She's never had a heart attack history. She got the attack twice. The options the doctors provided were either to give her medication whenever it happens or have surgery for her 3 blocked arteries. At her age, surgery doesn't seem like a good move.
She's stable now. Still at the hospital.
It's sad enough that she is suffering from a bad case of Alzheimer's and that she has a hard time remembering who we are. I was heartbroken to see her in so much pain last week :'(

Flying
Yusuf had been wanting to get on an airplane. Doesn't matter where. He just wanted to see and touch and possibly fly somewhere. This had been going on for a few weeks.
We did take him to KLIA 2 yesterday. Since it is after all near to our home, it's not like we've ever been there to fly ever. Just to shop and hangout really.
Anywho,I suggested we'd take a flight from Subang International Airport one day and just take a daytrip somewhere on the ATR. It's still a plan. Shu had been working on moving our stuff in and out of our house(s).
Long story.
Today,we decided to just fly a damn plane instead. On a simulator of course! It was a Boeing 737. Never flown one ever although I can roughly anticipate what the cockpit is like. My dad had been flying Boeing aircrafts for over 20 years!
Conclusion: I am just not pilot material. Haha! I didn't crash the airplane but my landing was a bit off.
Years ago, back when I used to mess around with my dad's Flight Simulator on the pc, I was flying small planes like a Cessna. Never a commercial plane. I landed pretty badly. Crashed was more like it.
Next stop,the ATR simulator!!!!!

Kylo Ren or Kryolan?
Haha!
Was talking to my brother, Eeno about Star Wars and clearly he did not get that joke.
He is the movie freak of the family. You name the movie,he has got it covered. We don't share the same taste in movies at all.
Nope. Not. At. All.

I don't understand
Some people are just unhappy with other people who are happy. And the best part of this is that they try to tell you how to live your life when it is pretty clear that they aren't happy with theirs. Sometimes, they'd comment on things they have never experienced before. It's weird.
You've made your choices and decisions and I have made mine. I am happy with my life but unfortunately, yours did not quite turned out as you've planned. How is this my fault?
It's one thing if I did ask for an opinion. I just never did.

Hi-5 live in KL 2015
Gone are my rock band gigs and concerts days. My life is all about Yusuf and Ali Imran now. And since Ali Imran is still just a baby, it's basically just about Yusuf.
He's been watching Hi-5 since his walker days. He and I would sing and dance to all their songs. I have memorized 90% of the lyrics to their songs.
Eventhough his interests have changed bit by bit to other random things like robots and cars,he'd still dance to some Hi-5 songs from time to time.
He liked Lauren a lot. And Stevie. Unfortunately,Lauren has left by the time we managed to catch their live performance. Stevie is still around although......he'll be leaving soon.
Anywho, the show was awesome. It took Yusuf a while to digest that the Hi-5 gang was on stage right in front of us. I had a blast singing and dancing with the other kids.

Just one of those days
Having a brother who is doing a degree in performing arts is just fun. I am already a guitar player and I write songs from time to time. He just adds a bit more jazz and bass and sometimes even rythm to what ever I play.
Since I have kids and they have cousins, I couldn't avoid Disney's Frozen because it's everywhere. About a year ago Yusuf discovered Let It Go and he was singing it from time to time. Eventually,I came to know the song myself.
A few weeks ago,I was at my mum's just busking on the guitar. I was playing random songs and finally,I found myself singing and playing Let It Go. Then,my brother came around and decided to join in on the bass guitar.
Before we knew it,we were rockin' the song. My brother paused and laughed. Just coz it's an E chord we had to make it into a rock progression! It was unavoidable but fun.
Yusuf was just looking at us like we just made it different than what he'd usually sing. We did. We totally did :)

Sometimes I still follow my mum around town
A few weeks back, I met my mum's friends and one of them happens to be the dad of an old school friend of mine. He's also a family friend. That's kinda how it is growing up for us. Our friends' parents are friends with our parents.
Anywho, this man I've known since I was 8 or 9 years old haven't seen me in ages and that day I showed up with my 2 kids. He was just blown away. Well,I've changed and Yusuf is gonna be 3 years old in January.
He was asking about what's been going on and I told him that I have been staying at home, raising my kids. He gave me a very good advice. Something I'll always remember.
He said "Never leave your child at the mercy of the maid". Of course,he said this after discovering how I ended up being a stay-at-home mum. There is a lot of truth in what he said.
Seriously, with the number of insane people waltzing into our country, can we really trust anyone at all? Especially with our kids?
I'm not against working mothers. It's much tougher on them but I just think that I have serious trust issues ESPECIALLY when it comes to my kids.
