We were trying to find a place to have lunch today. Shu's initial plan was to book a table over at Jibby East coz it's near and the food is good. They were quite packed coz DUH it's the weekend and even on weekdays, the place is usually packed anyways. My suggestion was to go to our usual spot which is Royale Chulan Damansara. Usually, the coffee house is calm during lunch hour and unless there were in-house guests who wanted buffets or something, the place was usually laid back. USUALLY. Not today though. Luckily, Shu called ahead and discovered that there was some sort of high-tea event happening so the place was fully booked.
We ended up having lunch over at Royale Chulan The Curve which was at The Curve Shopping Mall. I honestly thought traffic was gonna be a problem coz.........the IKEA Christmas sale is happening and for some strange reason, Malaysians really,REALLY,really love shopping at IKEA. I know, very strange. Luckily for us, the hotel has a separate parking entrance so we didn't get mixed up with the IKEA crowd. Had lunch and Shu decided to let us stroll in the mall coz he needed to get some jeans and possibly t-shirts.........
I discovered a plant shop >-< I know! I couldn't resist! They had so many plants and I HAD TO FALL for the HUGE one! -_-
OMGOMGOMG! I love it!!!!!
We ended up not getting anything from the mall afterall coz suddenly, so many people started coming in and some didn't even wear a mask IN THE MALL 😣 So, we decided to leave.
Stopped by at my parents' place and coincidentally, my sister and her kids are out of town so only my parents and Rashid and Kak Yah were at home. My mum was missing the kids and the kids had a good time playing tug-of-war and stuff with Rashid outside just before it rained. They also got to interact with some of the cats. They had fun.
It's been a long week and Shu (especially) and I are super tired. I really need to take a breather but tomorrow is cardio day! Tht usually means I am extra stressed prior to getting the workout routine done and if I do make it through, I would probably die of exhaustion but in a happy way ^_^
