We'd watch sci-fi movies like Ghostbusters and we'd discuss and try to understand the base of their theories pertaining to things like the proton packs. The cyclotron, the CRT....... Well, its a movie made in the 80s. Figure out the technology they had back then and see how they try to apply it to their equipments.
It's impossible to have a cyclotron that tiny, obviously and when we saw the sketches, Egon tagged the proton packs as Nuclear Accelerators....... Yeah........ Then, the question was how did they accelerate and how did it project beams........

It's not important but it's fun. I'm kinda doing my own thing with self-made proton packs and modified Ecto-1 lights 😁 and sounds......
I am pretty sure we're gonna get into a lot of trouble if we just went ahead and install a gunner seat on our car 🤔
