All he ever wants is freedom

Ali Imran was happy to see Wani Simon,Eeno and Dorothy that night. And he was soo happy I let him walked around (even when he was on drips)

The day he was waiting to be discharged,he did what he likes best. Walking around and saying "Hi!" to people.

Eversince moving back

My sister calls me at least twice a day. Not that it's a problem. She's probably bored and she always says I drive her nuts. Simon always says that he'd know she's on the phone with me coz she'd make weird sounds. Haha!

She called me today and while we were chatting I heard a noise in the backgroundand she said "Omagawd!" I asked her what was up and she said Simon broke a jar lid. It turns out,she was at a mall and Simon was touching breakable things. Then she said "Oh,we are going through the Pyrex aisle..." I told her to get off the phone and get Simon out of there before he started breaking more things 😱

Finally settling in

The last couple of months had been hectic. We were constantly on the move. Our home was a hotel room for the longest time. The kids missed their toys and play area. Although we've moved, they now have an even bigger play area and so much more space than we could imagine. There is a playground nearby and there's hardly anyone around which tends to get quiet but with Ali Imran around,I doubt it.

Anyways,my sister and her husband have officially moved back. Other than Simon's paperwork, they have literally moved back like just picking up where they left off when my sister decided to move down under. Went to checkout their place over in Taman Tun. Probably will take the kids swimming there someday.

prayers

This year has been a very trying year. First the heat, and then the haze (which isn't seem to be getting any better).

But of all the things that has been going on, there are 2 babies who desperately needs our help (prayers).

One baby (whose name is not allowed to be mentioned) was recently diagnosed with cancer. He's only 8 months old (if I am not mistaken) I was crushed when I heard the news. I've been crying a lot when ever I think of him. I've never met him though but the thought that he has to go for chemotherapy at a very VERY young age always gets to me. I hope he isn't in any pain. He's just a baby.

The other baby is a 2 year-old girl who was adopted but her paperworks were never done properly. At the age of 2,she still does not have a birth certificate. To make it worse, it turns out that she had a bit of an accident with hot water some time ago and I discovered that her foster parents did not take her to the hospital because she doesn't have a proper record here in Malaysia. I hope she's ok. I hope she'd find better people who are more responsible to care for her.

On the brighter side of things, my sister came home last week and she brought her recently converted friend with her. He's a nice guy and is good with kids. He seems to get along well with Yusuf. He's finally spoken to my mum about marrying my sister. I hope things will go well for the both of them.

In fact, I pray and hope that things will go well for everyone.

I'm also praying for it to rain. I hope it would rain for a few days to help with the haze. My house has been all closed up because I don't want Yusuf to inhale any of it since he was born with frail lungs. Although he's strong now, I don't want him to get sick because of this.

change

As we get older, our views towards a lot of things change. Most of the time, we hope its for the better. Many years ago, my sister and I would sit somewhere (probably a mamak) and just chat away about our views and opinions about many things pertaining to our lives. We were always in agreement with one another eventhough it may not be up to the same degree. She had always been the humanitarian and I've been an animal lover all my life.

We'd talk about our brothers, our parents, our family and the people that we love. I remember us talking about comfort zones and how difficult it is for one to change and eventually leave one part of their lives in order to move on into the unknown. We were young and still living with our parents and having to sell the house and my dad losing his job was the biggest change we'd ever had to go through because it was all that we've ever known. Alongside that was also the issue of the world of politics which was constantly pestering us as we don't share the same political views with our parents. Either ways, we've always had each other.

Years later, I got married and moved out and started living a completely different life. I was adjusting to a lot of things in the last couple of years and so was my sister. It's funny how I always thought she'd be the first one to marry and not me. Anywho, her decision to further her studies in Australia separated us for a bit and when I got pregnant, I felt like it wasn't the same when I'd go to my mum's and have pregnancy chats and she's not around. Little did I know was that in the couple of years whereby I was busy getting myself adjusted to my new life and all, she too was going through a spiritual path.

When she came back last week, we finally met up and just chatted at a nearby cafe. Yes, we were talking about the changes we were going through. Yes, we are still on the same page. We just have much more difficult problems at hand. Delicate problems. But we are willing to work together on sorting things out for the sake of our family.

The last thing we talked about before calling it a day was how good Shu had been to me as a husband and as great support. She liked the idea that I married my best friend and that marriage didn't change our friendship and instead, it made us open up to one another even more. I hope she'll find someone who will share her dreams and views and would take good care of her ^_^ I love my sister.

pitstopping

Was on my way home the other day.My sister called me up and asked to hangout with her for a bit in Subang.I went over to my aunt's place to get her.She just broke up and she wanted to talk.So there I was, driving from Puncak Alam to Subang. After a while,my cousin called me and asked if my sister and I could go pick him up from Suwnay Resort coz he's done with work.

Sunway,6pm-ish is just traffic madness. But we went anyways. My cousin was recently transfered to the butchery so my sister told me to brace myself when he gets into the car coz he'd smell really bad.He didn't smell bad at all.He said he brought his deodorizer with him along with some perfumed oil so he didn't smell bad at all.Haha!

In the car,in the middle of a standstill traffic jam,I decided to get something to eat so my sister recommended this place near my aunt's place (which was also jam packed with cars) and the 3 of us hungout for some food and drinks. It was funny. One of us just broken up from a 4 year relationship. One of us is getting married real soon. One of us is still hooking up with different people from time to time.

It was a good therapy though.I enjoyed that outing.

Oh yeah,my aunt's female kitten has this flu going on.It's actually more like a sinus. She looked awful and she was wheezing.......I think.

OMFG!

I was calculating how much I have spent on cosmetics in the last couple of months.I cannot begin to explain myself but Shu said (to make me feel better) that all those things I spent on are worth every cent.

Well,I'd say they are but if he says so then it must be something positive ;)

Managed to stay away from malls today.

*I kinda think something was up coz the amount of people at the malls and on the roads aren't as many as there usually would be :/ It's not a bad thing at all, really.Maybe things should be kept this way ;) I really thought that people were stocking up for war or something coz on Wednesday night, everyone did not leave the mall when it was getting late and people still kept on coming in and shopping!

Anywho,my sister proposed a make up shopping trip on Friday afternoon. So far,(as much as I know I shouldn't buy anyMORE cosmetics) I should be free then ^_^

*Gonna have to check with Sarah if she'd like to join us.If not,we can always go shopping earlier in the week ;)

bobbi brown,one utama

Been doing a lot of heavy lifting in the last couple of days. We've moved!

That didn't stop me from carrying on adding things to my shopping list.

Well,I was at the mall in the last couple of weeks.Went to check out Laura Mercier.I was curious about their much talked about concealer pot.But then I was also curious about M.A.C. and Make Up Forever. Before I could find time to go over to those 2 places,I somehow ended up at Bobbi Brown yesterday.

The sales girl was really helpful.Shu was there the other day coz he was looking for the kabuki brush.Anyways,he did mention that he learned a lot from that girl.Well,I did too.She sat me down and put the concealer on and stuff.I lurved the end product so I just went ahead and got those ^_^

The thing about me dragging Shu along when I go shopping is coz his opinion really matters to me and the fact that I always need a second (sometimes 3rd) opinion,he's always the first person on my list.Well, there's my sister and Sarah (whom I'd always ask online) I just think that make up needs to be seen and felt unlike clothes and shoes........or handbags!

Shit!I just realized that it's already the end of February!I haven't got much time to plan anymore!Damn it!

And it doesn't help that I seriously think my students are NOT prepared for their midterm exams!SHITTO!

weekend with my sister

I spent Saturday night laughing so hard in the bedroom with my sister coz she found a whole stash of things like photos and autograph books and journals from her days when she was in school.Primary school. The pictures she found were priceless!Like a photo of my grandma back in the way when she was still a minister! And the photo of us celebrating my sister's birthday at TGIF when I was still a goth chick.Hahahahahahah!

The autograph book was hilarious! My sister used to have Eno's friends around her (coz they all had a crush on her) So what some of these boys did was that they signed the damn book but with super fuh ney things written in it like "I ---- ---"<---which was I Love You (Doh!) and some of them would write stuff like "Ingat lah Allah......." and my sister and I were like "WHA???" Where the hell did that come from?!

The funniest part was that I too signed the book.TWICE!The last thing I wrote was "LURVE ME!"

And we were laughing at the things she wrote in her journal when she was 15.She wrote this awesome poem though which never remembered writing.

On Sunday morning, she and I followed my dad to Ampang to see this Burmese family.Their son was begging at our front door the other day and that's how my dad got to know him.We decided to help his family out coz apart from the fact that this boy's folks were refugees, the boy and his 8 other siblings never made it to school after primary school. Also, the kid doesn't even have an I.D. card!AND.....his 15 year old sister has a 6 months old baby girl!Oh yeah,in case you're wondering, the boy is only 16 years old.

Anywho, after that we headed home.I took my siblings out for lunch. We had a good laugh over Indian food.I dragged my sister to the mall with me to catch the flee market. There was a booth that sells make up brushes and stuff and I wanted to try them. The market is only during the weekends and I have no idea where to find the brush supplier otherwise.Had a drink. We were talking about stuff.

Actually,we did a lot of that.Talking.We haven't done that in a long while and my sister just needed a second opinion about the predicament she is currently in.Seriously,I wish we had that conversation earlier.I just hope she'll decide to do the right thing before going completely insane.

I,on the other hand, have been going through some serious guilt trip..........I'll probably save it for another entry.

Shu got a job and he's already started work today.Yey! ^_^

into the unknown

The last 24 hours of my life has opened my eyes and changed me.Hopefully for good. There's no turning back and I hope it won't be as bad as everything else that's happened.Maybe,my wish has come true and I really hope that I didn't ask for too much.

To think that it's only been a week, the pain that I went through might have gotten me seeing in a different view. What I'll leave behind would be things I once give a damn about.Of course,no one saw it coming. Not this way at least.

Well,I was online with Stitch the other day and he was telling me how unpredictable I am so this is just me living up to that.Oh yeah.....me haves a secret. He told me something.......well,now only Shu and I know about it ;) I am SO EXCITED!For Stitch, that is.........

So yeah.......I took baths in the last 24 hours in 3 different places. It was totally weird but things needed to be done and I do need to shower. It's been crazy.I didn't think taking such drastic actions would lead to where I am now.I think I've just come to a point whereby I just cannot care anymore.I have 1 person to think about now and it's Shu so as far as I am concerned, the rest of the world can burn in HELL!

Ok,that was not called for.I do care about Kecik and Snow Bear and Bedah as well.........

Naim said something to Shu and I yesterday and it still has me laughing till now.The dude is FUH-NEY!My sister takes bribes but since she's been great help to me at the very least,I don't really care so much about what she does. This ain't such a nice world to live in anyways.

I've been walking in the rain and it got me thinking a lot about where I'm going with all this.I'm not exactly sure about where I'm headed but I've definitely made a decision about what I'm gonna do from here onwards and that would be WHAT EVER IT TAKES.

out and about

Had one of those late night lepak session at the mamak with my sister my 3 brothers. It was fun.Haven't done that in a long while.I was telling a story about a movie and after I was about 80% done,Rashid asked me if I had seen the movie.Aiyo!

We had a hard time laughing out loud in the car coz we were talking about horrible subtitles in English movies and surprisingly,Azim and Qarim came out with some of the worst I have ever heard.

Oh yeah!Qarim so came clean about his new girlfriend.Nevermind the fact that she looks like a goodie two shoes (in the picture on his cellphone),I was more worried if she was one of those freakos like that girl he liked before back in his school.Well, from what he's told us,the girl ain't that type of person. That's good.Coz I'd be worried if she can't lay back and hang with us.AND......she's a Scorpio.Haha!

My sister just realized that she's become this boring person from all the books she's been reading.Like right now, she's reading a book about the Russian cold war.WTF?!I have a strange feeling that all her years of debating has something to do with it.Oh well........

While Azim is busy shuffling with jumpstarts and stuff,Rashid just got himself a white shirt today coz he said his band is going for a mafia image and he's gotta wear a white shirt with suspenders!I actually picked up this nice one for him but he insisted on getting a black one :/

Yes,we all agree that Snow Bear is somewhat human :p

waka waka waka!

After last night's curious case of random dance routine invention,I just realized that I have the entire lyrics to Celine Dion's Because You Love Me engraved into my head.I was driving Rashidinsky Petropavlosk and Shu nuts with my awful off-key screams in the car while singing along to the radio.

Shu and I had to meet up with my sister earlier this morning. The meeting was so secret that my mum got annoyed trying to figure out why the hell we were all the way in Subang so early in the day.The thing is,she didn't know that our discreet meeting took place in Sunway Pyramid instead.Let's just say my sister did Shu and I a huge favor and Shu promised to pay her for it ;)

Had brunch with Anas Bananas since he called in sick for work today.Funny.I could have sworn that the tee he had on belonged to either Shu,Rashid or me.Hurmm........

Then,Shu and I headed off.We made a quick stop at my aunty's place.I was playing with the cat (Oreo) and the 2 kittens.Watched some TV and then we went off to Putrajaya.

P.S. : Is it just me or is Bedah and Fei Mao starting to look alike these days.It sounds impossible since one is a rodent and the other is a feline.Still.........they seem to have a lot more similarities as the days go by.

live bullet shell pens!

My sister came home today.Naim picked her up from the airport this morning. She got me a pen made from a live rifle bullet shell. It is AWESOME!She told me loads of stuff that happened to her throughout her 6 weeks internship in Bosnia.

She almost got kidnapped by THE mafia when she was in Bihac with her friends and colleagues. She was saved coz one of her friends understood Bosnian.Damn!

She said that the buildings in Sarajevo still has bullet holes in them. She told us about the testimonials of the rape victims from the war.She told us about interviews of war survivors. She also taught me to swear in Bosnian ;)

She asked me to go visit Sarajevo with her.Sounds like a plan.

got up super early yesterday morning

Only to find out that my right eye had been conteminated by the anti-bacterial gel I put the night before.I text Shu telling him that my eye was hurting then I ran downstairs to find my mum.She told me to go to the clinic.I text my classmate that I wasn't coming in for class and went to the clinic with Shu and my mum.My eye looked like I was allergic to something according to the doctor. So she gave me an MC for 2 days.Still,I'm not a fan of not doing anything at all in a day.Had brakfast with mum and Shu and then we went home.

Was trying to get my Communications homework done.Headed out to Ikano and IKEA for a bit in the afternoon after getting Shu's notes from a classmate in Shah Alam.Had lunch in Subang. We saw this aweful looking Subaru with a whole lot of welded pipes all over the car and the color was.......eeeeuw!It totally looked like it was spray painted with a bunch of bad color combination :/

Was on the phone with my sister last night (after I was done looking for Kecik all over the neighbourhood) She said she misses home. She went to see a Bosnian survivor from the war testifying what was done to him.She said she saw and looked into the eyes of the killers of innocent people and thought how the hell do these people walk around looking like they had done nothing wrong.

She said she misses Malaysian food BIG TIME!

sometimes........the only way out is the hardest path to follow.........

It's ok to cry.Sometimes, crying helps clear off the smoke from the frictions of anger you have accumulated over the years.Hopefully you can see and think clearer now.

I'll always be here for you cry out to.

I love you........
