back in town

Got home at about 9pm last night.Had some ice cream at Swensen's before heading home.Ain't nuthin' better than their crunchy cones!Oh yeah,choc chip mint!Yup yup!

Anywho,our trip was AWESOME!!!We spent our first night in Batu Feringghi.Went to the night market and stuff.Finally falls asleep at 4am.Got ourselves a whole bunch of stuff from Crocs to DVDs and everything in between.

Got up the next day at about noon.Just in time to check out.Headed over to Bayan Lepas coz we needed to get to USM.......to go say hey to Qarim-chan.........anywho,we also had to get to a hotel there coz that was where we supposed to spend the night.Went around and around and finally found the hotel.

*That hotel is NOT the ONLY brown colored building in the area!

Qarim had lunch with us but he didn't want to hang out with us at the beach so we went ahead on our own.Played jet ski.Got ourselves soaked and then we headed back to the hotel which took us about an HOUR coz of the traffic jams in town.We went out for dinner over at Padang Kota with Qarim and Anas Bananas was supposed to meet up with us there but he was stranded at his place in Seberang Prai.

Later on,we decided to go over to see Anas anyways.Had ice cream and dropped Qarim off at his dorm at about 2am.After that we went back to the hotel to sleep.Got up in time to check out the next day and headed to town to do some shopping.Food and stuff.It was really neat to be walking in the streets and stopping by at a Nasi Kandar for brunch.

After that we went to the Snake Temple for a bit.Got our photos taken and played with some snakes.Poisonous snakes.Touched a super huge monster sized python who swallowed a 20kg goat some time ago.It was HUGE!Oh yeah,we also witnessed a huge snake eating a live chicken.

Well.......after that we just headed home.

It was a super fun trip.I had a blast.

My sister dragged Shu,Qarim and I to go shopping for my mum's mother's day gift.We went around for almost an hour and finally decided to head over to other shops instead to have a look around.We finally decided on a handbag for my mum.I insisted on getting Shu's mum something as well while we were at it so we got her something as well.

*I just hope she'll like it ^_^*

Having Qarim and Shu (and I) giving out views and opinions on handbags and their designs is the craziest thing to do.Seriously,Qarim's view on handbags in general is strange.And of course,Shu and I aren't always on the same fashion page so we weren't much help.

Anyways,we eventually decided on a design and stuck with it :p

radiator problems

We (Shu and I) so freaked out when we were at the traffic light coz we heard a sound like someone's water broke!Well.......probably a car's water bag broke......which would most likely be the radiator.Of course,Shu's car did have some problems with the radiator earlier this year but he managed to seal it off.Well,the whole damn thing probably needs to go now.The car temperature gradually went up and eventually,we decided to let it cool off and hungout at the warung.Later on,Shu got a bottle of water and filled up the radiator tank but there was water dripping.....no,more like raining under the car....if that made any sense at all.Well,yeah.It was the radiator.We managed to get home but we're gonna have to get it fixed or replaced first thing tomorrow morning (which is anytime after this actually.....)

Anywho,our wedding invitations finally arrived.The ones for the reception.We were busy filling up what ever needed to be filled up and writing down names on them as well as the envelopes and carefully checking lists,making sure we didn't miss out anyone's names.We'll continue tomorrow.What ever deliveries we can do shall be done ASAP.

NOW I'm nervous.We have 5 weeks left and I have yet to make sure everything is in place.Well,the wedding planner called up my mum one morning just to tell her that he was so happy to know that I agreed to having inai on my fingers.Haha!I told you he's super enthusiastic!

I've been having muscle cramps from the badminton game yesterday.SHIT!I can hardly walk properly!

It's been crazy.The last 24 hours had been super intensed (for Shu) so he and I and my 2 brothers decided to hit the mall through the storm.Hahahaha!My brothers thought I was losing my mind which occasionally happens.We hung out for some drinks and food and headed for the game arcade.We sucked at every game we played but we kept on playing anyways.It's weird but Shu said that the Para Para Paradise 2nd Remix was not functioning properly.Hurmm........Of course,I insisted on trying out this whacked out Japanese game which involved throwing a bunch of balls to a huge screen.I like that game but the balls kept getting out of control and bounced everywhere.

I just had a yelling session at Snow Bear coz he was chewing off my Ugla!And he was acting weird between my bed and the wall.To prevent him from making a mess on my vanity table,I decided to kick him out immediately :/ Kecik is fat and so is Bedah.

My sister spent the night at home and we were laughing so hard last night over the dumbest things.She still insists that I bring out the worst insanity of her.Oh well.

It's her birthday today.She's 22......I think.My folks decided to take everyone out for brunch.Was almost late for our movie date at noon-ish.I think I'm gonna take my sister to either Bobbi Brown or Make Up For Ever for a birthday treat.

Anywho,I didn't eat during brunch coz I wasn't hungry.I got hungry after the movie.Just then,my mum called Shu to tell him that there has been some changes in plans and that Qarim wanted to join us since he was bored and wanted to get something at the mall anyways.Rushed home to get some things to be brought to our place later after that.

I needed to vacuum the apartment badly coz it was super dusty so we chucked the vacuum into the car.We=Qarim,Shu and I.Grabbed some more things to be brought to the apartment and headed off to Subang.BAAAAD TIMING!I completely forgot that it's a week day so we got caught in traffic jams and stuff.I drove all the way there for the first time ever!

*Managed to get Qarim addicted to the Sims 3!

Shu and I got hooked to the new Ford Fiesta.I'd happily get that car over any Japanese car!The fact that it is smaller and way cuter than the Ford Focus makes it awesome!AND........they come in manual transmission as well!YEY!

out and about

Had one of those late night lepak session at the mamak with my sister my 3 brothers.It was fun.Haven't done that in a long while.I was telling a story about a movie and after I was about 80% done,Rashid asked me if I had seen the movie.Aiyo!

We had a hard time laughing out loud in the car coz we were talking about horrible subtitles in English movies and surprisingly,Azim and Qarim came out with some of the worst I have ever heard.

Oh yeah!Qarim so came clean about his new girlfriend.Nevermind the fact that she looks like a goodie two shoes (in the picture on his cellphone),I was more worried if she was one of those freakos like that girl he liked before back in his school.Well,from what he's told us,the girl ain't that type of person.That's good.Coz I'd be worried if she can't lay back and hang with us.AND......she's a Scorpio.Haha!

My sister just realized that she's become this boring person from all the books she's been reading.Like right now,she's reading a book about the Russian cold war.WTF?!I have a strange feeling that all her years of debating has something to do with it.Oh well........

While Azim is busy shuffling with jumpstarts and stuff,Rashid just got himself a white shirt today coz he said his band is going for a mafia image and he's gotta wear a white shirt with suspenders!I actually picked up this nice one for him but he insisted on getting a black one :/

Yes,we all agree that Snow Bear is somewhat human :p

after a long drive on the highway.......

We are finally home.Safe and sound.

Shu,Azim and I went to send Qarim back to his campus in Perak.We left at about 4pm.Got there within about 1 and a half hours time.Our drive home took us HOURS!At one point,we were only going at about 40km per hour!Azim went crazy for a bit.He was singing out loud Psychosocial.......growling out the lyrics is more like it.

Haha!Another funny thing to add to our silly story would be us bringing home the toll ticket.Here's what actually happened.We've already taken a ticket when we exited Gopeng.Then,halfway through the heavy traffic and all,Shu decided to top up the touch 'n' go card at a petrol station since there were so many cars on the road forgetting that we already have a ticket.We got to the Damansara toll and Shu was wondering why the screen said the card is not recognized.No amount was deducted either.I quickly checked the overhead sun screen and took out the toll ticket.All of us looked at eachother for a bit and then laughed our heads off.When we got home,the first thing I showed my folks was the toll ticket.

Had dinner with my grandma and Qarim and my cousin Anas Bananas.I was falling asleep every other second.Qarim was being himself while Anas and my grandma did what they do best-talk.Most of the time,I don't like listening to my grandma coz she tends to go overboard with her jokes which aren't funny and might just offend other parties.

Tonight,I decided to just go with the flow.I found out quite a lot of things about my late grandpa (my grandma's 1st husband) The sorta thing that makes me wonder if my mum or my aunt knew about. My grandma told us the story of her eldest sister.How she came to be the way she is now.

I was told that she saw her husband and her kids getting shot in front of her during the Japanese occupation.That's not quite how it all went down.She got married twice coz her first husband was accused of being a traitor and got shot.Her second husband died and she was found under a bridge all covered in mud and slugs and she didn't recognize anyone at all.Not even her sisters or her mum.She's still alive.She's just not living in the present time.

My family history (from my mother's side) has a number of not-very-convincing point of view towards men.They betray.They hurt the women in my family.It's always the ladies who has to get everything done.In fact,it kinda happens in my dad's family as well.My sister and I are the only 2 girls in my family.I'm weaker than my sister.Even though she'd get heartbroken at times,she'd cry and then get over it and move on.I'll always try to be there for her whenever she does.

Also,I found out tonight that my cousin got kicked out from his dad's house back when he was 13.He called my grandma in the middle of the night asking her to come get him down the road from his house.Strange how I never knew about that.I personally never liked my aunt's ex husband that much but I never knew he'd do that to his own son.

My grandma spent the entire time advising all of us which I find quite comforting coz she'd just trying to look out for all of us.She's been through a lot.I kinda feel bad for not being nice to her at times..........

throbbing

Mum left with Azim and Qarim at about 6:30 this morning.They probably had just arrived in Stockholm (I think).They're on their way to Michigan to see Eno-san.After all the problems Qarim went through in getting his VISA,he's finally on his wy there already.His SPM results is coming out tomorrow (I think).

In the meantime,I am stuck with classes (still).Will be at home with my dad and Shu till they (mum,Q &A) come back.My grandma will be around the house in the afternoons till about 10pm.Kak Yah comes in the morning and leaves at about 5pm like she always does.My sister and Rashid will be home during the weekends.

I have a band meeting on Saturday at about 4pm over at Ayie's workplace.No idea if there'll be any jamming sessions.

Anywho,my head had been throbbing since morning.I think its migraine.I usually don't get migraines.Maybe its coz I got up superearly this morning (5:30am-ish) and I haven't been able to sleep since my mum left.Managed to get myself to class on time this morning but because my head's been throbbing off and on,I just couldn't go on with classes.Shu is also sick.He's been sick for a few days now.
